Summary
The Agriculture Research & Development Foundation (FUNDEPAG) makes public the opening of applications for a post-doctoral fellowship associated to the Center for Research Targeted to Problems in State of São Paulo (NPOP), Biotechnological Platform for Healthy Ingredients (PBIS) – supported by FAPESP in partnership with a consortium of industries and coordinated by the Institute of Food Technology (ITAL/SAA, Campinas-SP).
The aim of the PD fellowship is to identify enzymes involved in the degradation of complex polysaccharides, their heterologous expression and biochemical characterization aiming at sustainable production of oligosaccharides with prebiotic potential.
The 24-month PD project will be developed under the FAPESP NPOP-BIS project, at the São Carlos Institute of Physics/IFSC; University of São Paulo/USP (São Carlos, SP) under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Igor Polikarpov.
