Summary
The Agriculture Research & Development Foundation (FUNDEPAG) makes public the opening of applications for a post-doctoral fellowship associated to the Center for Research Targeted to Problems in State of São Paulo (NPOP), Biotechnological Platform for Healthy Ingredients (PBIS) – supported by FAPESP in partnership with a consortium of industries and coordinated by the Institute of Food Technology (ITAL/SAA, Campinas-SP), with the objective of implementing and developing new models for evaluating compounds phenolics, obtained by bioprocessing of agricultural residues, through in vitro methods, especially with animal cell culture.
The 24-month project will be developed under the NPOP-BIS, supported by FAPESP, at the Faculty of Food Engineering, UNICAMP.

1. Summary of position and experience required
The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Food Science, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology or related fields, preferably with experience in cellular and molecular biology. The candidate must develop a project related to the proposed theme, assist in the guidance and co-orientation of students, collaborate with other researchers at the institute in the development of other projects, assist in the writing and review of scientific works of the research group and work on actions aimed at transfer of technology and knowledge.

2. Requirements and skills required for the candidate:
- Have completed a doctorate, and obtained the title of doctor in the last 7 years;
- Hold a degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Engineering or related fields;
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary research group;
- Knowledge of the English language for reading, scientific writing and conversation;
- Scientific production in indexed journals (be the first author in at least three scientific publications in indexed journals);
- Preferably with experience abroad
Experience in:
- Culture of animal cells; enzyme immunoassays; qPCR; Western Blotting; HPLC; in vitro digestion assays.
