market grew 7.9% a year in value (US$) and 4.8% in
volume (

). The following markets
stand out as the most common users of packaging:
biscuits, pet food, powder drinks, coffee and snacks
in flexible packaging, and soft drinks, mineral water,
edible oil, chemical products and fabric softeners in
rigid plastic packaging (
